Honey West
Age: 63

Honey West is an all-around entertainer who has contributed her services to numerous AIDS and GLBT charities. She is transgender and works to dispell myths about trans performers.

She writes: "I have been an entertainer all of my life, I have been apart of the Chicago gay community from around 1985 to present. I have been lucky to have supported myself through my career in singing, acting and hosting events. Through the years I have had the opportunity to work with the Chicago Police Department on hate-crime programs, many if not all of the health and HIV organizations, most of the bars and clubs in the community, and just about every benefit I could fit into my schedule for the last 23 years. We have a rich and diverse community and It has been my pleasure to be apart of it."
